And every one shows my 256gb drive (150gb other) without that space omnidisksweeper says the drive is 251gb, but then it says that it is only 60gb once it has scanned it. My guess is the difference between Home1 and Home2 corresponded to the files I've deleted from Home1 since storage had become an issue. So far I have tried cleanmymac, omnidisksweeper, and grand perspective. There are options for other versions but it only goes up to High Sierra. However, on DaisyDisk they were collectively heavier than Home1. OmniDiskSweeper no longer compatible with Catalina When I try to open the app, it says it requires macOS 11.0 and up. Therefore they didn't show up on OmniDiskSweeper or CleanMyMac. ![]() When I examined Home2's files in the finder, they added up to less than 20mb. If I had to guess Home2 was a product of a failed attempt at Time Machine in the very early days of my computer. Thus, you can make your Disk cluttered-free and organized using this storage cleaner. It recognized that a second user (call it "Home2") on my computer was actually holding a duplicate of my main user account ("Home1"). Does anybody use the any of the software below I got very close to workable capacity on my drive (which is now sorted) and some people mentioned the software below as an aid. What do I have to do to have my storage back : mac 2.6m members in the mac community. However, I do remember that I made about 30gb of free space yesterday. ![]() Nothing worked until I downloaded DaisyDisk. So, my OmniDiskSweeper says that I got 30gb of storage left (and I do think so), but my mac says that I have no space left. I had tried OmniDiskSweeper, CleanMyMac and a bunch of threads on Reddit and Apple Support. I've been scrambling to rid myself of 200+ GB of storage on my Mac for way too long. ![]()
